Wow!…2012 is almost a memory…

Thought I would take a moment to share a newsy item and a few images of my latest ‘Orchid’ paperweight…

L. H. Selman Ltd. just completed their ’52nd Auction…Fall 2012 and Lot #137 was a Buzzini 2001 Monarch Butterfly paperweight. This paperweight possibly garnered the highest price ever realized for a regular-size, contemporary, flameworked paperweight!…The hammer price was over three times the high estimate value…Thanks to Mitch, Ben and Alexis at L.H. Selman Ltd., and of course the buyer/collector. Wish I had been the seller!

The following images are of my latest Orchid paperweight. I consider this particular paperweight to be the finest Orchid piece I have ever created. This is the first piece in a new series entitled… ‘Legacy Series.’
